Le Grand-Bornand
Le Grand-Bornand
A paragliding competition with an original concept: both amateurs and professionals pilots are trying to achieve the longest round-trip flight. Every morning watch the paragliders take-off from the top of Mont-Lachat.
Due to bad weather conditions, the end of the competition is anticipated to Wednesday, June 28. Award rewards at 11am at Espace Grand-Bo.

Pilots will take off from the summit of Mont Lachat and attempt to fly as far as possible with the mandatory goal of returning and landing in Le Grand Bornand. Strategy, technique, analysis, these are the skills needed to exploit the huge paragliding potential of Le Grand Bornand.

New for 2018:
- Until now, the calculation of the points was done simply by adding the total distance of the triangle, the number of kilometers giving us the number of points. From this year, 3 diagrams were placed around Grand-Bornand. Some of them benefit from bonuses, because it is more difficult to make kilometers in the red zone than in the blue zone, which itself is more difficult than the green zone.
