Snowshoeing, by day or night, is a great way to get up close and personal with the wilderness, and to get off the beaten track. A pure experience, discovering the surrounding peaks and exceptional fauna, starting with the mythical bearded vulture, three pairs of which have inhabited the area since the species was reintroduced in 1987, the black grouse, whose protection zones have recently been reinforced in the valleys of Mont Lachat, and the Alpine ibex, the prestigious guest of our mountains, which can be seen on the slopes of the Col de la Colombière.
