Le Grand-Bornand has been identified as an ideal place for practising well-being in its many different forms, and is home to a number of yogis who offer their services on a session-by-session basis or as part of themed breaks and accommodation. For something a little more unusual, try your hand at equine mediation, the horse being recognised as an emotional facilitator that can be used to achieve therapeutic, educational and teaching objectives. Taste the flavours from Haute-Savoie!
Le Grand-Bornand is the home of farmhouse Reblochon cheese, which traditionally dates back to the Middle Ages in the mountain pastures of the Col des Annes, and has as many cows as inhabitants! This know-how is perpetuated by its young farmers, and can be discovered and savoured on a trip to the farm… or over a good meal, as the village is not short of great places to eat, ranging from quality fast food to the panoramic terrace at the top of the slopes, not forgetting the bistronomic restaurants dotting the main streets of the village and Chinaillon.

Why not get into action mode?
Hiking in front of the Aravis mountain range, skiing at sunset, enjoying the fresh mountain air while admiring hundred-year-old chalets, meeting the farmers, guides and craftsmen and women and enjoying a good farmhouse Reblochon cheese: these are all moments that make summer and winter in Grand-Bornand a unique experience… and help to make it a place that belongs to all of us in a small way.
