Fun facilities at the cutting edge

Le Grand-Bornand stands out for its ski area, with a balcony overlooking the surrounding massifs, where all levels of difficulty can be found side by side, punctuated by state-of-the-art fun facilities. The 5-hectare snowpark is dominated by the signposted but ungroomed Freeride piste, one of Grand-Bornand’s legendary descents, with the Dénivel’Maxx and its 1,100m of non-stop, thigh-warming runs.

Discover the Nordic ski area

Cross-country skiing has its stronghold in Grand-Bornand, with 74.5 km of trails on which Olympic medallists Lucas Chanavat, Benjamin Daviet and Sophie Chauveau trained from an early age.
The ski area stretches from Grand-Bornand Village (where the Biathlon World Cup is held) to the Bouchet valley. There are also a number of groomed itineraries for snowshoeing and walking.
