Unique experiences to discover in Le Grand-Bornand

The BO! Mag News, advice, experience... we've got it all!

An exceptional panorama à 360°

Lovers of wide open spaces will opt for a paragliding flight or a ski touring trip, following one of the safe, signposted itineraries along the Alpine ski area… all offering unparalleled views of the Aravis mountain range. Unless, of course, you already have a good level of fitness, you opt for a hike up to the Gramusset refuge, also known as the Pointe Percée refuge, one of the only CAF (Club Alpin Français) mountain refuges open and guarded in winter: a sentinel of the Aravis mountains with a sheer drop over the valley, which has earned itself a place on the list of must-do excursions in the region!

Fill up your tank thrills and spills!

Adventure also means the chance to push back your limits with practices that resemble initiation rites, such as toumo yoga, also known as “yoga of the inner fire”… which involves immersing yourself in the icy water of torrents duly accompanied by an experienced yogini. Another experience open to thrill-seekers: climbing an ice chute with slopes defying 90° with a state-qualified high-mountain guide.
