Our Aravis resort is the ideal place for a family ski holiday. Beginners’ areas: before you set off to conquer the red and black runs, try your hand at skiing and snowboarding in our specially-designed beginners’ areas. For their safety, don’t forget to fit your children with helmets.
Several family-friendly areas await you:
- Môm’Park, a freestyle area for children located close to the Serpentine slope: snow modules, Box, Flat, Up down, Rainbow will enable young riders to express their full potential.
- Défi’Môm: slalom arches and bollards, a gallows with a bell, a distorting mirror, a rotating character, a suspended curtain… all playful modules on the theme of cows and agriculture to discover on this downhill run on the Les Églantines piste.
- 3 rest and relaxation areas: if you want to take a break, recharge your batteries or those of your phone, and admire the superb scenery around you from the comfort of your own chair, you can enjoy the rest and relaxation areas at the top of the Rosay gondola, at the top of the Maroly chairlift and at the Snowpark.
- The Charmieux service hub, with a new ESF reception point, lift ticket office, ski locker, childcare center and public toilets all under one roof… linked to a new beginners’ area. The latter includes an ESF kindergarten and a covered wide-belt carpet for free use by all. Free parking and snow-front shuttle stop at the foot of the area.

- From Grand-Bornand Village, at the top of the Rosay gondola, a large beginners’ area with the Alpage Express carpet and Les Raîches ski lift. A safe, signposted toboggan run is also available.
- From Grand-Bornand Village, at the top of the Joyère gondola, a plateau of gently sloping runs served by a chairlift and two surface lifts, with a magnificent view of the Aravis mountains.
- At Grand-Bornand Chinaillon, on the snow front:
- At the foot of the Charmieux chairlift, the Outalays carpet, with free access.
- At the foot of the Floria and Châtelet chairlifts, a free-access Le Castor snow line.
Snowpark: ranked among the best in France, the SnowparkGB offers lines of different levels, including 1 XS (beginners) and 1 S (beginners), as well as a Big Air Bag.
Downhill ski pass
Take advantage of age-based rates, the TRIBU family ski pass, the MINI-DOMAINE ski pass and free lifts. Our family-friendly ski resort in Haute-Savoie offers a wide range of discounts for skiing in total freedom.
- FREE ski pass: for children under 5 years of age on the first day of purchase.
- JUNIOR ski pass: reduced rate for 5 – 14 year olds
- TRIBU ski pass: for families with at least one child under 18 years of age.
- MINI-DOMAINE ski pass: reduced rate for a sector ideal for beginners, comprising 13 lifts in the Grand-Bornand alpine ski area with 2 gondolas, 3 chairlifts, 5 drag lifts, 1 snow wire and 2 conveyors.
- DUO ski pass: a 6-day ski pass to share, for parents who want to alternate between childcare and the joys of skiing!
- Free ski lifts: Alpage Express and Outalays carpets, Le Castor snow wire.
