Handiski Skiing for all!

Founded in 1998 by seven sportsmen and women led by former ski instructor Jean-Claude Blanc, who is still President, the Handiski Club Loisirs association works to enable people with motor, sensory or mental disabilities to enjoy mountain activities to the full. On the slopes, the association has a large stock of snow sports equipment – uniski, dual-ski, kart-ski, tandem-ski, Nordic sled… – to satisfy all desires for thrills, as well as special support for skiers of all levels, in conjunction with the resort’s ski schools and their specially-trained instructors. Le Grand-Bornand’s ski lifts share this commitment to inclusivity, offering disabled skiers priority access and a preferential rate that also applies to their companion.
