The Col de la Colombière is open in summer and closed in winter (currently open).

The Aravis Massif is easily accessible:

  • A 40 (Autoroute Blanche); exit N° 16 Bonneville, direction Stations des Aravis 20 km away
  • A 41 exit Annecy Nord, direction Thônes / Stations des Aravis 30 km away.

Smart tips :

  • From northern France, take the A39 freeway from Dijon, towards Geneva.
  • In the event of very bad weather, prefer to access via Annecy
  • In winter, roads are well cleared of snow, but special equipment is required (snow tires or snow chains / snow socks).
