Concert by the Quatuor 441. These musicians are particularly fond of the Romantic period (Beethoven, Dvorak, Borodin, Schubert) and also enjoy playing arrangements of film music and songs.
Quatuor 441 will delight you with two magnificent works from the chamber music repertoire: Joseph Haydn's quartet op.74 no.4, nicknamed "Sunrise", followed by the first two movements of Franz Schubert's quartet "Death and the Maiden". To end on a happier note, they will be offering two little surprises arranged for quartet.
Quatuor 441 is a string quartet founded in Paris in 2008 by musicians keen to discover the works written for this formation and to share them with the public in the Ile-de-France region and in Haute-Savoie every summer. Last January, violinist Vincent Charbonnieras joined the quartet and Juliette Carradec took up the viola. Ruth Nelson is still on violin and Nicolas Boucher on cello.
No reservation needed.
