This becomes the climax of a loop that can be done in either direction. Of course, everyone has good arguments for preferring one route to the other... You can make up your own mind!
With a bit of luck, a few chamois will be galloping in the distance. Unlike the other peaks in the Aravis, Mont Blanc is not visible from the hole. You'll have to admire it from the Paccaly ridge.
