Le Grand-Bornand owes its international reputation to the fact that it is “ideally oriented to the wind, which means you can fly in several directions, on the east-facing sides in the morning and the west-facing sides in the afternoon, opening up the possibility of trips to Annecy or Chamonix”, explains Maeva Giacometti, three-time French paragliding champion based in Le Grand-Bornand.
