Experience Discovering a natural and cultural heritage...

One of the most popular spots in the bike park is the Grand Tour du Grand-Bornand, a cross-country itinerary rated “red”, starting from the highest point of the mountain bike area, for a sporty descent to the village via the Col des Annes and the foothills of the Aravis mountain range.

A ski lift allows you to take advantage of the itineraries. A water jet is available at the Rosay gondola.

You can also take advantage of the 250 km of signposted and groomed mountain bike trails in the Aravis massif, with numerous inter-resort circuits to enjoy with family and friends.

Drive in complete safety

  • Choose routes according to your ability (don’t overestimate yourself…), the weather and the difficulties (gradient, uneven terrain…) indicated on the maps. Know how to control your speed;
  • Before you set off, check the weather forecast and existing signposting, find out about current conditions (roadworks, presence of névés) and check the condition of your mount;
  • Don’t rely solely on your cell phone: it’s not always possible to get a signal in mountainous areas;

Don’t forget to take with you :

– food and water;
– clothing & accessories adapted to the weather (cap, sunglasses, sun cream, windbreaker, etc.);
– a well-fitting helmet and repair kit;
– a first-aid kit;
– a cell phone and emergency numbers.

Worth knowing:
Rule of measurement: On a 1:25,000 map, 4 cm represent 1 km.
A difference of 1 mm between two contour lines is equivalent to a slope of 40%.
