Experience Discovering our natural and cultural heritage...

One of the most popular spots in the bike park is the Grand Tour du Grand-Bornand, a red-rated cross-country route starting at the highest point of the mountain bike area, for a sporty descent into the village via the Col des Annes and the foothills of the Aravis mountain range.

A ski lift will take you up and down the itineraries. A water jet is available at the Rosay gondola.

You can also take advantage of the 250km of signposted and groomed mountain bike trails in the Aravis massif, with a number of inter-resort circuits to enjoy with your family or friends.

Drive in complete safety

  • Choose routes according to your ability (don’t overestimate yourself…), the weather and the difficulties (gradients, uneven terrain…) indicated on the maps. Know how to control your speed;
  • Before setting off, take note of the weather forecast, the signposting in place, the current conditions (roadworks, presence of snow) and check the condition of your mount;
  • Don’t rely solely on your mobile phone: it’s not always possible to get a signal in mountain areas;

Don’t forget to take with you :

– food and water;
– Clothing and accessories adapted to the weather, which may change (cap, sunglasses, sun cream, windbreaker, etc.);
– A well-fitting helmet and repair kit;
– a first-aid kit;
– a mobile phone and useful emergency numbers.

Worth knowing:
Rule of measurement: On a 1:25,000 map, 4 cm represents 1 km.
A difference of 1 mm between two contour lines is equivalent to a slope of 40%.
