A person with reduced mobility goes handiskiing in a snowy setting. His ESF guide in red clothes pushes and belays behind him, both laughing and seeming to enjoy the moment. Behind them, the PRM skier's wife follows them. The PRM skier is wearing a black, orange and grey ski suit with a black helmet. We can see the Aravis mountain range in the background. The atmosphere is very gentle, serene and jovial.A person with reduced mobility goes handiskiing in a snowy setting. Handiski Skiing for all!

Set up in 1998 by seven sportsmen and women led by former ski instructor Jean-Claude Blanc, who is still its chairman, Handiski Club Loisirs works to enable people with motor, sensory or mental disabilities to enjoy mountain activities to the full. On the slopes, the association has a large stock of equipment – uniski, dual-ski, kart-ski, tandem-ski, Nordic sledge… – to satisfy every desire for thrills, as well as special support for skiers of all levels, in conjunction with the resort’s ski schools and their specially-trained instructors. Le Grand-Bornand’s ski lifts share this commitment to inclusivity, offering disabled skiers priority access and a preferential rate that also applies to their companion.
