Climbaboard the gondola!
From the village, it’s easy to reach the summits on foot, with a pushchair, on a mountain bike or with your paragliding equipment.
The Rosay gondola gives hikers the chance to explore some of the 160 km of signposted hiking trails, and mountain bikers the chance to choose from several of the 178 km of mountain bike routes.
Your four-legged friends are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead throughout the estate.
A water point is available at the foot of the Rosay for cleaning equipment, subject to the absence of a drought decree in force.

Lachat chairlift
Easy access to the summits!
Following on from the Rosay gondola lift, the Lachat chairlift is accessible to pedestrians and paragliders.
Enjoy a magnificent 360° panoramic view of the Jura, Aravis, Bargy, Bornes, Bauges and Chablais massifs, as well as the summit of Mont Blanc.
Thanks to the orientation table, you’ll be able to spot some of the highest peaks in the Alps.
In this exceptional setting, take a stroll along the new panoramic trail (550m) and, in July and August, before it opens to the public, (re)awaken your senses with an unforgettable Morning Yoga (paying activity subject to registration and pending confirmation for 2026)!
Reach the facility either by taking the Rosay cable car from Le Grand-Bornand Village, or by car via the Outalays road from Le Chinaillon.
Please note that mountain bikes are not permitted on this chairlift.
