Enjoy unlimited access to a hundred ski areas with the Magic Pass, valid from 01 May 2026 to 30 April 2027.
The Magic Pass means freedom, simplicity and above all the pleasure of unlimited skiing in almost 100 winter resorts and 48 summer resorts in France, Switzerland and Italy (summer 2026).
In France, you can ski in 10 resorts, including Le Grand-Bornand (Hirmentaz, Jura-sur-Léman, Les Habères, Massif des Brasses, Monts Jura, Métabief, Praz de Lys-Sommand, Thollon Les Mémises and the newly opened resort of Bernex).

- How do I obtain a Magic Pass?
You can join directly online, on the official Magic Pass website. Once you’ve made your purchase, all you have to do is come and enjoy the lifts at Le Grand-Bornand and the other partner resorts!
ATTENTION: Our offer to renew your season pass with a Magic Pass annual pass is only available exceptionally on our Le Grand-Bornand site, from 1 September to 4 November 2025.

- Which package should I buy for my child born in 2021?
The Magic Pass is not available for children under 6.
On presentation of a family document and the Magic Pass of one of the 2 parents, we offer the Le Grand-Bornand ski pass to children born in 2021 and after.
- Magic Pass delivery times
All packages are produced and issued by Magic Mountains Cooperation.
For packages ordered after 18 April 2025, the order will be processed within 2 days of transmission of the information by Le Grand-Bornand.
Delivery times depend on the delivery times of the Swiss and French postal services (generally 4 working days in Switzerland and 7-10 working days for France).
If you have not received your Magic Pass by post within 3 months of placing your order, please contact info@magicpass.ch.
After this period, a duplicate must be ordered for a fee of CHF/€40.

The LIB ski pass, also known as pay-as-you-go skiing or telecharging, gives you total flexibility: once you’ve signed up and collected your pass, you can ski whenever you like, as your pass is automatically detected at the terminals.
You are only billed for the day, and systematically benefit from preferential rates for all ages (except the under-5s).
The 8th day skied is free, then one day free for every 4 days skied (i.e. the 12th, 16th etc…).
Night skiing is free (skiing on Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm at Le Charmieux, dates to be announced) and you can enjoya VIP experience day (in 2024/2025 the slopes will open under the supervision of the Grand-Bornand ski patrol, booking required).
*BONUS: 5% extra discount on the day’s price for any group of 3 people or more (1 person paying for multiple memberships).
If you were already a member in 2024/2025 you will need to apply for a new membership & a new skicard will be provided.

- How does the LIB package work?
The LIB pass, also known as electronic toll collection or pay-as-you-go skiing, gives you direct access to the ski lifts without going through the ticket office, and at preferential rates. It works like a car electronic toll tag: you are automatically detected as you pass through the terminals, and your day’s skiing is recorded and debited to your account on a weekly basis.

- What are the added benefits of skiing with a LIB?

- How do I apply for LIB membership and what documents do I need?
The LIB package is only available online. Simply create an account, fill in your details, provide a recent passport photo and proof of age, and link a bank card for payment. It’s quick and accessible to everyone!
- Can I lend my LIB package to someone else?
No, the LIB package is strictly personal and nominative, like all our packages.
It is linked to your customer account and your photo.
Any fraudulent use or lending to a third party will incur charges, with no possibility of reimbursement.
- What should I do if my LIB card is lost or stolen?
In the event of loss or theft, please contact a Grand-Bornand ski area ticket office as soon as possible to report the incident.
Your card will be deactivated to prevent any misuse.
A new card may be issued for a replacement fee.

Valid from the opening on 13 December 2025 to the closing of the ski area on 10 April 2026, this pass gives you access to all the Grand-Bornand ski lifts, with the freedom to ski to your heart’s content, whether for a leisurely morning or a full day out with friends or family.
The season pass is free for children under 5, on presentation or downloading of proof of age.

*Ski lift office: open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.45pm. (closed between 12pm and 2pm).
Production and dispatch time: 4 days in France and 8 days abroad.
- Is the season pass nominative?
Yes, all our ski passes are personal and nominative, with the exception of the ski ascent. You may be asked to show proof of identity when checking on the slopes.
- Can I pay for my season pass in several instalments?
Yes, payment facilities are available online for the season pass.
- What are the conditions for cancelling or refunding the season pass?
For all Le Grand-Bornand season passes purchased online, we offer a cancellation guarantee, enabling you to be reimbursed if the pass is not activated and not used.
The request must be made to the sales department no later than the end of the season, i.e. 10 April 2026.
- Is my season pass valid for areas other than Le Grand-Bornand?
The Le Grand-Bornand season pass is valid only for the Grand-Bornand ski area.
If you want to ski in several areas at an unbeatable price (and experience the mountains in summer as a bonus), the Magic Pass is the annual pass for you!
