Cow Art : sculpture "The Driftwood Cow"

Elevation : 903m
243 route du Borne, Le Grand-Bornand Village, 74450 Le Grand-Bornand
"The Driftwood Cow" is a wooden sculpture, created in 2007 by the artist Pascal Abbet.
This sculpture is entirely made from driftwood collected in the River Borne that runs through Le Grand-Bornand. The wood has kept its smooth, polished appearance after a long dip in the lakes and rivers of Savoie. The artwork was created for the first edition of the “Fabulous Village” Festival which was held in Evian-Les-Bains in December 2007.
