Glisse en Coeur from 20 to 22 March 2026

In 16 editions, Glisse en Coeur has established itself as the charity event of the French mountains, with almost 5.5 million euros donated to 31 associations.

This success is based on an original concept combining solidarity and skiing in relay teams from Saturday 2pm to Sunday same time, all in an atmosphere brought to life by live concerts given each winter by top names from the French music scene.

The 17th edition will take place from 20 to 22 March 2026.

For 2026, the strong choice of a social cause, for the betterment of society.
This year, the Bornandin event will be run in aid of the Ma Chance Moi Aussi association, founded in 2015 by André Payerne, an entrepreneur in the metal industry who is sensitive to social inequalities. His aim: to help the most vulnerable children to succeed. The first establishment was opened in Chambéry (Savoie). Today, the association has 13 centres across France. The association is committed to providing comprehensive, preventive support for vulnerable children from families with educational difficulties, from the age of 6 right through to the end of secondary school if necessary.

Using a comprehensive, long-term educational model, Ma Chance Moi Aussi works on a daily basis to help children to

  • the acquisition of fundamental school skills
  • developing interpersonal skills
  • cultural, artistic and civic awareness.

It works hand in hand with families, schools and local authorities to reveal children’s potential and pass on the essential values that will enable them to choose their future despite social and educational obstacles.

This main cause will be joined, as in the two previous editions, by five sponsored associations now under the aegis of the Fonds de Dotation pour l’Enfance: Loisirs Assis Evasion, Les Pâtes au Beurre, Quiberon Infiniment Solidaire, Williams France and Le petit monde d’Ugo. The aim is to make the adventure more collective each year, with more causes being defended.

The winners of the Race for Donations will be the teams who collect the most donations in each of the 2 categories “Company” and “Tribe” AND who meet the sporting challenge of 24 hours of non-stop skiing in relay teams.

The challenge for the teams in the race is to ski down the eponymous slope (each winter, the equivalent of almost a round-the-world race is completed in Le Grand-Bornand) without having failed to raise several hundred thousand euros as part of an intensive online fund-raising campaign for children’s causes that are recognised as being in the public interest.

Did you know?

Since 2008, the success of Glisse en Coeur has been due to the unwavering commitment of hundreds of volunteers who work on all fronts, in all weathers and at all hours of the day and night. Without them, Glisse en Coeur would not have been able to collect over €5 million in donations for the various children’s charities it has supported since the first edition, and become the charity event of the French mountains.

The Children's Endowment Fund

Glisse en Coeur, Vendée Coeur and Danse en Coeur united under the banner of the Fonds de Dotation pour l’Enfance (Endowment Fund for Children)

The aim of the Fonds de Dotation pour l’Enfance is to create a sense of solidarity between existing 24-hour amateur sports and leisure charity events. A unique framework structure with an ethics committee for Glisse en Coeur as well as Vendée Coeur (Les Sables d’Olonne) and Danse en Coeur (Lyon).
