Glisse en Cœur has raised nearly €6.5 million in donations across all editions!
In 2026, a strong commitment to a social cause, for the greater good of society.
This year’s Bornandin event was held in aid of the Ma Chance Moi Aussi charity, founded in 2015 by André Payerne, a metallurgy entrepreneur concerned about social inequality. Its aim: to support the most vulnerable children on their path to success. The first centre was opened in Chambéry (Savoie). Today, the charity has 13 centres across France. By supporting highly vulnerable children from families facing educational challenges, the charity is committed to offering them comprehensive and preventive support, from the age of 6 until the end of secondary school if necessary.
Through a comprehensive, long-term educational model, Ma Chance Moi Aussi works on a daily basis to:
It works hand in hand with families, schools and local authorities to unlock children’s potential and instil in them the essential values that will enable them to shape their own futures despite social and educational obstacles.
In addition to this main cause, as in previous years—now under the auspices of the Children’s Endowment Fund—five sponsored organisations have been involved: Loisirs Assis Evasion, Les Pâtes au Beurre, Quiberon Infiniment Solidaire, Williams France and Le petit monde d’Ugo. The aim: to make the event more of a collective endeavour each year by supporting more causes.
The winners of the Charity Run will be the teams that have raised the most donations in each of the two categories, “Company” and “Tribe”, AND that have completed the sporting challenge of 24 hours of non-stop skiing in a team relay.
The challenge for the competing teams is to race down the eponymous slope (every winter, this equates to almost a round-the-world trip being completed at Le Grand-Bornand) whilst having raised several hundred thousand euros through an intensive online fundraising campaign, held in aid of recognised charitable causes supporting children.
The cause championed by the Ma Chance Moi Aussi association, the main focus of the 17th edition, struck a chord with one of the most prolific hitmakers on the French music scene, Gioacchino Maurici. The brother of Calogero, he has composed for the likes of Johnny Hallyday, Céline Dion and Florent Pagny, before teaming up with Bruno Guglielmi to create an official anthem for Glisse en Cœur. “A gift,” according to Isabelle Pochat-Cottilloux, General Delegate of the Children’s Endowment Fund, for whom “the educational issues championed by the Ma Chance Moi Aussi association resonated with Gioacchino’s own childhood, as he himself grew up in a working-class neighbourhood of Grenoble.”
The aim of the Fonds de Dotation pour l’Enfance is to create a sense of solidarity between existing 24-hour amateur sports and leisure charity events. A unique framework structure with an ethics committee for Glisse en Coeur as well as Vendée Coeur (Les Sables d’Olonne) and Danse en Coeur (Lyon).
