Live the experience A Day Out: On the Green

It’s swinging at the foot of the Aravis mountains!

The Grand-Bornand golf course is ideal for beginners or those who want to improve their game. And don’t forget to take the whole family for a stroll along the secret paths facing the Aravis mountain range…

Your afternoon

Stay at the golf course to practise freely and put the morning’s lessons into practice.

The course is relatively technical, with meadows, spruce groves and a small stream. Its 1,550-metre 9-hole course, 200-metre driving range and 9-hole pitch & putt course (the latter accessible to beginners, among others) make it the ideal place to begin or improve your game in an extremely favourable environment, between picturesque hamlets and spectacular views at the foot of the lofty Aravis mountain range.

Or...

Take a family walk through the heart of the Duche mountain pastures towards the Col des Annes. Follow the Way of the Cross that leads to the Fontaine Bénite. In fact, there are two sources of water here: the ferruginous spring, known to all, and the sulphurous spring below. Pilgrims still drink this water to treat skin and eye diseases.

The Plus

  • For lunch, stay on site or nearby and choose from one of the restaurants in the Vallée du Bouchet.
  • In the evening, enjoy the village atmosphere on one of the bar terraces for an aperitif, then sample one of our specialities in one of the Village restaurants.
