Ski resort near Annecy
A ski resort in the Alps, Le Grand-Bornand is 45 minutes from Annecy. It offers an unspoilt ski area where you can practise a wide range of disciplines: alpine skiing, nordic skiing, biathlon, snowboarding, ski touring, snowshoeing, nordic walking and sledging.
The resort is also accessible to people with reduced mobility, who can practise handisport skiing, tandemskiing or dualskiing with a trained and qualified instructor.

Le Grand-Bornand is also a land of champions, with a total of 16 Olympic and Paralympic medals and 16 world championship titles. In Alpine skiing, there's Tessa Worley - Giant Slalom World Champion in 2013, 2017 and 2022 (and holder of 16 Giant Slalom World Cup victories). Or the Midol brothers: Jonathan, bronze medallist in skicross at the Sochi Olympics, and Bastien, overall winner of the skicross World Cup in 2019. This year, 11 athletes from Bornand are defending the resort's colours on the world circuits in 6 disciplines.
