THE SKI-CLUB CELEBRATES ITS 100th ANNIVERSARY

12 champions on the starting line of the world's biggest competitions for winter 2023/24: that says a lot about the dynamism of the most regularly represented resort on the international ski circuits, all disciplines combined. A healthy habit and a trademark for the village, which carried a 'historic' delegation of 8 athletes to the Vancouver Olympics in 2010, then 6 to Sochi, 4 of whom returned with medals in 2014... For a long time, Le Grand-Bornand has believed in its young people, who give it back in kind, true to the spirit of the pioneers of the Ski-Club, rightly nicknamed "the school of champions" and several times voted French Champion of the junior category.
the school of champions' and several times voted French Club Champion, which is celebrating its centenary in 2023 at the same time as the retirement of three of its most valiant ambassadors.
three of its most valiant ambassadors, namely Tessa Worley (double Giant World Champion in 2013 and 2017, two Crystal Globes in 2017 and 2022), Jonathan Midol (Skicross bronze medallist at Sochi 2014) and Bastien Midol (Skicross world vice-champion
2013, Crystal Globe 2019).
