An interesting succession of sections through sparse woodland and then clearings leads up to the Col des Annes. A stunning stretch along the ridges offers a sweeping view down to Les Troncs, the last hamlet in the Bouchet Valley, at the foot of the Aravis range.

In July and August, we recommend using the free shuttle buses to La Duche, starting from the bus station or from Tardevant car park in Le Grand-Bornand Village.
Outside the bus operating season, from Le Grand-Bornand, drive towards the Bouchet Valley, then at a place called ‘Les Plans’, turn left onto the Route du Col des Annes. Continue for 4.5 km and park at the car park for the Duche chairlift.
