In the year 2000, Le Grand-Bornand is 2000 inhabitants, 2000 cows, pastures at nearly 2000 meters altitude. So naturally, Le Grand-Bornand became THE CAPITAL OF COW ART!
Imagine a little: an entire village that celebrates the cow: sculptures, paintings, photos, comics ... an artistic flock for the least unexpected!
At the option of a walk without beginning or end, find the works present in the village and Chinaillon. So, let yourself be guided!

This driftwood sculpture was created by the artist Tiene Vanly and the Théâtre de la Toupine for the 30th anniversary of the Festival Au Bonheur des Mômes.
"The Blue-Eyed Cow" is a concrete and pebbles made sculpture, created in 2002 by the artist Rémix.
The result of a collaboration with Pascal Bettex, an artist from the canton of Vaud (Switzerland) and a European specialist in kinetic machines, and impossible gears.
These two metal sculptures were created by Guili-Guili 22 years apart, the first for the "Ils voient des vaches partout" exhibition in 2000, and the second for the " Ils voient des vaches partout, le retour" exhibition in 2022.
