...smooth gliding and unusual experiences

Those who prefer a gentler form of winter sport can try their hand at cross-country skiing, a flagship activity in the Bouchet Valley. Wild and unspoilt, dotted with snow-covered spruce trees and cosy chalets nestled beneath the snowflakes, the Nordic ski area boasts 74.5 km of trails that allow you to discover a setting combining nature, winter sports, heritage and rural life.

For a more unusual experience, electric fatbikes or snow mountain bikes, snow tubing or even paragliding offer a fun and original way to explore the terrain.

Unique in the world, ever-changing, artistic and as offbeat as can be, the ‘Parcours de l’Art Vache’ allows visitors to enjoy hundreds of works – paintings and sculptures – permanently installed throughout the village, maintained and regularly updated by professional and amateur artists from all over the world. A veritable open-air art gallery, offering a fresh and offbeat perspective on Le Grand-Bornand’s ‘star’ ruminant.
