A yoga session outdoors or indoors, depending on the workshop, combining awakening of the body, yoga of alignment with posture sequences, connection to the breath and full presence to savour the pleasure of being and walking, in complete simplicity. Find your ‘inner fire’ by practising toumo yoga, a practice that pushes back the limits of resistance to the cold and purifies the body in depth. Practise equine mediation with Amanda Locatelli, because the horse is recognised as an emotional facilitator that can achieve therapeutic, educational and teaching objectives.
A family introduction to the art of pottery at the 4 Seasons workshop: A Savoyard tradition par excellence, pottery can be discovered all summer long in the form of workshops and other discovery courses for parents and children aged 4 and over, run by ceramist Nathan Belfer. The workshop, housed in an adorable little house on the corner of the village square, has developed a style in Grand-Bornand that does not imitate any particular artistic movement, but aims for the essential, the most natural expression. On the programme: throwing, modelling, decoration with engobes and enamelling… and the shared pleasure of leaving with a small object of her creation.

As they wander along the trails, beside the torrents or in the heart of the mountain pastures, the budding artists will see their notebooks fill up with sketches and sketches, witnessing a highly creative discovery of the mountains alongside watercolour painter Hélène Godillon, who has a degree in Fine Arts.
On the programme: four sessions of practice in the field plus a full-day watercolour hike, with themes as inspiring as a sunset over the lake, or the discovery of the chalets clustered in picturesque hamlets on the slopes of Mont Lachat…
On the programme: workshops led by the artist-sketcher trio Pierre Amoudry, Vincent Desplanche and Luc Perillat: grandocroquis, lectures, exhibitions, evening events… all good opportunities to exchange ideas and sketch together the lines of a creative and colourful mountain.

The only one of its kind in the world, the Parcours de l’Art Vache (Cow Art Trail) allows walkers to appreciate the hundreds of works of art, paintings and sculptures, permanently installed throughout the village, maintained and regularly renewed by professional and amateur artists from all over the world. It’s a veritable open-air art gallery, offering a fresh, offbeat view of Grand-Bornand’s ‘star’ ruminant.
From the top of the grassy ridge just before the descent to the lake, don’t miss the view of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. The walk ends in a secluded high-altitude valley, where sheepfolds and lakeside refuge chalets nestle.
