Discovering our natural heritage...
Snowshoeing, by day or night, is a great way to get up close and personal with the wilderness, and to get off the beaten track. It's a pure experience, a chance to discover the surrounding peaks and exceptional fauna, starting with the mythical bearded vulture, three pairs of which have inhabited the area since the species was reintroduced in 1987, and the black grouse, whose protection zones have recently been reinforced in the valleys of Mont-Lachat...

A resort accessible to all
Other activities and means of locomotion, some of them original, offer a different approach to the mountains, such as telemark or paret skiing, vintage practices that have been brought up to date on the slopes, or the ‘skibike’, designed and built exclusively by enthusiasts in a workshop in the valley to hurtle down snow-covered slopes... or, more simply, a horse-drawn carriage. The spirit of the Far North is also on display, with igloo-building workshops for children, the joy of lighting a fire in the snow, or tapping birch sap on the edge of the Bouchet valley.
