Lormay Country Fair 19 July 2026

• 10.00 am (all day): sheepdog trial,
• 10.30 am: Mass under the marquee,
• 11.00 am: fun run (organised by Team SNGB),
• 11.30 am: concert by the Grand-Bornand wind band,
• 12 noon: lunch on site,
• 12.45 pm: folk dancing by the “Lou Socali” group from La Clusaz,
• 1.00 pm: Hérens cattle fight,
• 1.30 pm: calf parade by the very young farmers of Le Grand-Bornand,
• 3.30 pm: descent from the mountain pastures,
• 4.30 pm: milking of the cows,
• 5.00 pm: final of the ‘Combat des Reines’,
• 5.15 pm: ‘Jay’m’ concert,
• 6.15 pm: demonstration of how to make farmhouse Reblochon and white Tomme cheeses,
• 7.00 pm: traditional meal (tartiflette or white tomme),
• 7.00 pm: concert by “Les Pitounes” featuring Hubert and his accordions,
• 7.30 pm: “Jay’m” concert,
• 9.00 pm: screening of the FIFA World Cup final on a giant screen,
• 11.00 pm: fireworks,
• from 11.00 pm to 2.00 am: DJ night.

Lunch: raw vegetables, leg of lamb or sausages and chips, cheeses, ice cream or pastry (€20).
Evening meal: choice of tartiflette, cold meats, salad and ice cream or pastry, or white tomme cheese, cold meats and ice cream or pastry (€18).
Children’s menu: sausages, chips and ice cream (€10).

Bus service every 30 minutes from 9.30 am to 12.10 pm, from 1.30 pm to 6.50 pm and from 7.45 pm to 12.45 am, departing from the coach station and the Tardevant car park. Return from Lormay every 30 minutes from 9.45 am to 12.25 pm, from 1.45 pm to 7.05 pm and from 8 pm to 1 am.

Special information regarding the running race:
3 age groups: U10, U14 and over 14s,
2 start groups: U14 (1 lap, approx. 1.5 km) and over 14s (2 laps),
Children are the responsibility of their parents.
Entry fee: €8 for adults (over 18) and €5 for children,
A free drink will be provided when you hand back your race number.
