... TO SAVOUR

Autumn is always a time for gourmet delights, and in Le Grand-Bornand you'll find plenty to tantalise your taste buds. As you stroll through the countryside, you'll find mushrooms and wild plants, but for the uninitiated, the weekly market (on Wednesday mornings) or the shops offer plenty of opportunities to shop and discover local products: sausages, local ham, etc. and the famous farmhouse Reblochon cheese.

... TO MEET

Le Grand-Bornand, a village with a strong character, has much more in store for you than just its scenery. As you stroll through the village, you'll discover that it's a place where people meet, where there's culture and art, and where the Cow Art path is a must. Its local identity is expressed through its century-old chalets, where you can visit the authentic Maison du Patrimoine, or its mountain pasture farms where you can discover how Reblochon cheese is made, as well as its chapels and oratories. You can also meet passionate craftspeople, such as Maison Augusta, a showcase for the skills of local designers.
