The take-off is located at the top of Mont Lachat, at an altitude of 2100 meters.
Winter : Take off either on skis. The area located right next to the avalanche barriers is reserved for those professionals who maintain the platform in order to guarantee maximum safety for their passengers, who are often novice skiers. Last chair for the Le Lachat chairlift is at 16:00.
Summer : The aspect is primarily W-S-W, facing the valey wind, but it is also possible for a N-E takeoff. The vertical drop is more than 1000 meters.
